Pretty if the sun won't shine

 The beautiful Charlotte. Although she doesn't believe that she is beautiful, she most certainly is. She wanted to try out all my lipsticks and I said that I would take some photos of her each time so she could see the colours. It turned into a bit of a mini photo shoot! She was very unsure of herself and said she could only do silly poses, but distracting her and taking some cheeky sneaky snaps seemed to work. I hope she sees these photos and realises how pretty she can be when not trying at all :) The last one is of course the necessary silly cute shot, to show her fun loving personality. I really hope that I have captured her well.

So where am I? I'm at Houghton House in Amptill, just down the road from the Antiques Emporium actually! It used to be a huge and beautiful hunting lodge back in the 17th Century, that was until the owner died and the building was bought and dismantled. Its such a shame because what remains is so beautiful, the original house would have been outstanding. I thought that I would wear my new white dress, as a simple outfit, hopefully allowing my surroundings to stand out. I do love the simplicity of this dress, with its clean pleats and neat collar embroidery. I hope you love it too!
