Purchases!

Soooo, what did I buy from Amptill Antiques Emporium?

Well first of all, while hunting amongst the rails of clothes Grace came across this little number:

A beautiful chiffon shift dress with an embroidered neckline, button hole fastening to the back and flute sleeves. I bought it without trying it on and yet it fits amazingly!! I have to wear a slip underneath it as its a liiiiittle see-through… but hey its worth it! I took it out for a mini shoot recently so I will post that as soon as I can! I bought it for £18, which I think it pretty good considering the amazing condition we found it in!

The next purchase was a deep purpley black faux fur stole, it is suede lined and sooooo soft.

I’m no good with labels so have no idea how old this is!…All I know is its sooo pretty! It is almost black when wearing it indoors, but when you go outside and the sun shines on it, you can see all the purpley tones!

I also got this beautiful little white handbag from my last outing, remember when I went to Harpenden? Bought this little beaut in a charity shop for £4.99 and couldn't resist a few little pics of it for you ;) It was in such great condition for a white bag! It hardly needed any cleaning at all, I LOVE IT.

Let me know what you think of my purchases! Do you like thrift shopping?

Charity Shop Shopping

Faux Leather Jacket - New Look
Polka Dot Tee - H&M
Striped Skirt - H&M
Necklace - Accessorize
Fur Stole - H&M
Boots - ASOS
Bag - Charity Shop

Me and my girls went charity shop shopping the other day in our favourite village for vintage swag - Harpenden. If you've ever heard of it, try going there! There's an awful lot of old ladies that seem to donate to the charity shops there and, well, they are pretty well off around there, so there's some good stuff sometimes! I wore a very, erm, well, un-old-lady-y outfit for the occasion, a nice short skirt and leather jacket! I love adding in some vintagey details like the bag and faux fur, just for funnies.
Where do you find are the best places to charity shop? I love cheap and cheerful ones with some secret vintage goods, that the volunteers don't really understand the value of. It's great!
